Clint Frazier Collects Three Hits
4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier burst back onto the major league roster with a 3-for-4 game that landed him just a triple shy of hitting for the cycle in his first game back with the team this season. A former top-50 prospect, concussions and fierce playing time competition have left Frazier without much major league playing time over the past few seasons, but the 25-year-old has an opportunity to claim semi-consistent playing time with Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) on the IL. With Mike Ford, Brett Gardner, Mike Tauchman, Miguel Andujar, and Frazier all vying for playing time at two spots in the Yankee lineup, Frazier is still probably only worth rostering in very deep AL-only leagues, but he’s worth a look from DFS players and may find his way into more consistent playing time if he continues hitting well.
