4 years agoSecond/third baseman Christian Arroyo has been nabbed off of waivers by the Boston Red Sox following being DFA’d by Cleveland last Thursday. Arroyo was the crown jewel of the Evan Longoria deal between San Francisco and Tampa Bay in Dec. 2017, but he is yet to pan out at the Major League level, having compiled a .215/.280/.342 slash line across 71 games. He figures to be primarily a reserve infield option for Boston with little fantasy intrigue for the time being.--Jesse Borek
