Corey Seager Returns To Lineup Against Padres
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager (back) will make his return to the lineup for Thursday's series finale against the Padres. The 26-year-old has been sidelined since Friday due to lower-back discomfort, but prior to the injury the sixth-year shortstop was enjoying a very successful start to the season with 10 runs scored, three home runs, seven RBI, four doubles, a .340 batting average and .989 OPS through 13 games. Seager will serve as the designated hitter and bat second against Padres starting pitcher Chris Paddack in the contest. Seager should be started across all fantasy formats as one of the better players for fantasy production at his position.
