4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Tony Gonsolin was back in the club’s starting rotation Wednesday tossing up 4 ⅔ scoreless innings against San Diego. In the wake of his aversion to allowing runs thus far in 2020, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that Gonsolin is likely to get another start next week as he was not optioned to the team’s alternate site as roster moves were made Thursday. Through two starts, Gonsolin has twirled 8 ⅔ frames without allowing a run, having compiled a .168 wOBA. He is currently in line to start against Seattle next week, but with his next date on the mound unknown, owners will have to wait for his matchup to see whether he is a streamer option in season-long formats.--Jesse Borek
