4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals top prospect, outfielder Dylan Carlson, will reportedly be brought up to the Major League roster ahead of Saturday’s doubleheader against the White Sox, per Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Ranked as the No. 18 prospect in the Majors, Carlson mashed across two levels last season, slashing .292/.372/.542 with 26 home runs and 68 RBI, in addition to stealing 20 bags. Still just 21 years old, Carlson is a game-changing bat in keepers leagues, as he figures to see everyday duties as the Cardinals return to the diamond following their battle with the COVID-19 outbreak. Carlson’s exciting blend of pop and speed makes him a worthy waiver wire add in medium-sized or larger formats for aggressive owners who are eyeing upside.--Jesse Borek
