4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals right-handed pitcher Adam Wainwright is slated to pitch Game 1 of Saturday’s doubleheader against the White Sox, the first game that St. Louis will have played since July 29 due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the organization. The club did not immediately announce its plans as to who would start the second game of the doubleheader, should the club even pass its latest round of testing. Wainwright allowed just one run across six frames in his lone start this season, although his matchup against a stout White Sox offense may lead to owners looking elsewhere on the DFS market.--Jesse Borek
