4 years agoColorado Rockies first/second baseman Ryan McMahon entered the 2020 season in a prime position to take the next step and become a fantasy breakout -- thus far, that appears far from the case. McMahon has struck out in 28 of his 59 at-bats, a staggering 41.8 K%, which is an alarming jump from the already concerning 29.7 rate that he compiled over 141 games last year. Not surprisingly, McMahon was a much better hitter at Coors Field last season, but he has taken that up a notch to begin the year, with a .934 OPS at home versus a .445 mark on the road. At this stage, McMahon is a weekly add in season-long formats when playing at Coors for the full week, but that isn’t projected to be the case until mid-September.--Jesse Borek
