Aaron Judge Headed To Injured List With Calf Strain
4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge has been placed on the 10-day injured list due to what manager Aaron Boone is deeming a Grade 1 right calf strain. The Yankees seem unfazed about the move being a long-term ailment for Judge, who enters Friday with a big league-leading nine home runs. With Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) also out of the mix, Clint Frazier and Mike Tauchman remain the biggest candidates to see an increase in playing time, with Frazier having speculative add value in most season-long formats due to the power potential that he has displayed in short stints. For Judge, owners will merely want to wait for his activation before redeploying him in all formats.
