Corey Seager Cleared To Return To Shortstop Friday
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager has gotten the thumbs up to man the shortstop spot Friday against the Angels and left-hander Patrick Sandoval. Seager returned to the lineup Thursday as the designated hitter after a six-day layoff due to a recurring calf ailment. The 26-year-old has been clobbering the ball thus far in 2020, having produced 30 hard-hit balls, the fourth-most in the Majors. His .333/.390/.630 slash line is indicative of his potentially having turned the corner and become an elite fantasy asset so long as he remains healthy.
