4 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. has been placed on the 10-day injured list due to wrist soreness. Acuna last appeared in the lineup Monday, with Ender Inciarte receiving the majority of the playing time in his absence. Despite striking out in 32.1% of his at-bats, Acuna has delivered the power metrics that owners sought with five doubles and four homers in his first 18 games, all while delivering a 53.7 Hard Hit% that ranks within the top six percent in the Majors. Atlanta is optimistic that Acuna could return to the lineup as soon as next Friday when they take on the Phillies.--Jesse Borek
