4 years agoHouston Astros outfielder/designated hitter Michael Brantley will incur a stint on the 10-day injured list due to discomfort in his right quad. Brantley was out of the lineup Saturday against Seattle, paving the way for the trio of Kyle Tucker, George Springer, and Josh Reddick to hold down outfield spots with Yordan Alvarez at DH, a designation of labor that is likely to continue with Brantley unavailable. After a scorching hot start to 2020, Brantley has cooled over his last seven games, batting just .133 with four total bases. Upon his activation, he will retain season-long value in most formats as his 12.5 BB% makes him an appealing on-base commodity.--Jesse Borek
