4 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe has followed up his impressive rookie campaign by scorching the ball in the early part of 2020. Entering play Saturday, he led the American League with 17 runs scored, having become a staple at the top of the Rays’ order. He has been particularly elite over his last seven games, which has seen him slash .423/.483/1.000 while scoring 10 runs and amassing 10 RBI. His 19.2 barrel percentage and .443 wOBA rank inside the top ten percent of hitters in the Majors, indicating that this level of production is sustainable. He should be rostered in all season-long formats moving forward.--Jesse Borek
