Prior to his exit, Goodrum raised his on-base percentage on the season to .269, having been a staple in the leadoff spot thus far in 2020. Despite his struggles, Goodrum has actually pounded the ball in the early portion of the year, delivering a 16.3 barrel rate and 51.2 Hard Hit %, both of which rank above average throughout the Majors. His metrics buoy that he could be a deep season-long asset, so long as his back ailment proves minor.
