Andrew McCutchen Hits First Homer Of 2020
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen hit his first homer of the season in a win over the Mets on Sunday. McCutchen started the afternoon on the bench, but would go 1-for-2 with a two-run homer after entering the game. The veteran outfielder has struggled mightily to start the season and is still batting just .192. That being said, McCutchen's main fantasy appeal is his ability to score runs batting atop a good Phillies lineup and he has been solid in that role as he has been getting on base thanks to a nine-percent walk rate. He'll be an attractive option in his next two games as he'll get two games in hitter-friendly Fenway Park against Boston's depleted pitching staff.
