4 years agoSt. Louis Blues forward Brayden Schenn helped the team stay alive in their first round series and avoid being pushed to the brink of elimination in Sunday's 3-2 overtime victory against the Vancouver Canucks. Schenn's breakaway goal late in the first overtime period helped the Blues close the gap to a 2-1 series lead, while goaltender Jake Allen earned the victory in his first start of the series after Jordan Binnington was benched for Game 3. Blues defenseman Justin Faulk and forward David Perron each added a goal in the victory, while forwards J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson scored for the Canucks.
