4 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani is out of the starting nine Monday against San Francisco and left-hander Tyler Anderson. The move appears to be in an opportunity to get both Justin Upton and Albert Pujols back in the lineup against a southpaw. Ohtani has struggled mightily against left-handed pitching thus far in 2020, going just 1-for-18 at the dish. Now that he has slotted in as a batter-only for the rest of this year, he should remain in the daily lineup on most occasions, albeit with a somewhat diminished season-long fantasy outlook.--Jesse Borek
