4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks suffered his second loss of the season in the first game of a doubleheader versus the Cardinals on Monday. Hendricks left the game with one out in the seventh inning in a tie game and the bases loaded, but reliever Rowan Wick came in and allowed the two-run double to Brad Miller give the Cardinals a victory. In 6 1/3 innings, Hendricks only allowed three hits, one walk and struck out five Cardinals. Hendricks didn’t get any help from the Cubs offense and now owns a solid 3.31 ERA. Hendricks will look to get back in the win column versus the White Sox on Sunday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
