4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first/third baseman Edwin Rios has been placed on the 10-day injured list due to left hamstring tightness which forced him from Sunday’s contest. Taking his place on the active roster is left-hander Adam Kolarek, who has vultured a pair of wins out of relief this season and not allowed a run in 5 ⅓ frames of work. Rios has proven an adapt fill-in bat thus far in his career, having produced a 164 OPS+ in 87 plate appearances. His path to full-time duties remains clogged due to the Dodgers’ immense depth, but he is an excellent DFS play when available.--Jesse Borek
