Auden Tate Impressing Bengals Coaches
4 years agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver Auden Tate has impressed head coach Zac Taylor this offseason. When asked about Tate, Taylor said, "He's a total professional... He's on top of the details on special teams... he's got a great grasp for what we're trying to do on offense." Aided by several injuries to the Cincy receiving corps in 2019, Tate had a mini-breakout, catching 40 of his 80 targets for 575 yards and a touchdown. That being said, he's probably likely to settle in as the team's No. 5 receiver this season, provided A.J. Green can stay healthy and rookie Tee Higgins acclimates himself to the NFL quickly. Tate is nothing more than an end of the roster stash in extremely deep dynasty leagues.
