Mets Awaiting Results Of David Peterson's MRI
4 years agoThe New York Mets are awaiting the results of an MRI that left-handed pitcher David Peterson (shoulder) underwent on Wednesday. Peterson was scratched from Tuesday’s start against the Marlins due to fatigue in his pitching shoulder, an ailment that landed him on the 10-day injured list. Peterson has impressed through his first four big league starts, compiling a 2.91 ERA and 1.15 WHIP to go along with three wins. His shoulder injury is the latest in a string of injuries for the Mets' starting pitching staff. The Mets and dynasty league owners are holding their breath awaiting the results of the rookie's MRI hoping that the shoulder injury is not serious.
