David Peterson Dealing With Minor Shoulder Inflammation
4 years agoFollowing up on an earlier report, an MRI of New York Mets left-handed pitcher David Peterson (shoulder) did not reveal any structural issue with his shoulder on Wednesday. Peterson is reportedly dealing with just a minor inflammation in his shoulder. Peterson was scratched from Tuesday’s start against the Marlins and landed on the 10-day injured list due to this issue. The MRI results are obviously welcome news for the Mets and Peterson owners. Hopefully, his time on the IL will be minimal. Peterson has impressed through his first four big league starts, compiling a 2.91 ERA and 1.15 WHIP to go along with three wins.
