Luis Robert Could Potentially Return To Lineup Thursday
4 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert is out of the starting nine Wednesday due to a hand ailment that he sustained Tuesday. But manager Rick Renteria is optimistic that the club can get Robert back in the mix Thursday against Detroit and right-hander Spencer Turnbull, although there’s no guarantee. Robert has showcased his preternatural abilities through his first 24 games, collecting 11 extra-base hits and four stolen bases en route to a 130 OPS+. The 23-year-old will be a staple of fantasy lineups for years to come, as his DFS price has steadily risen this season. Check back to get the final word on when Robert can rejoin the mix.
