4 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman (lower body) was pulled from Wednesday’s game in the fourth inning with a lower-body injury. The exact nature of Bregman’s injury is unclear for now, but it looks like the infielder will miss a game or two at least and is likely to require an IL stint. Bregman had been off to a solid if somewhat underwhelming start to the season with a .860 OPS and identical strikeout and walk rates, but his fantasy value may take a significant hit depending on the severity of Thursday’s injury. Fantasy players should expect Abraham Toro to primarily fill in at third base in the event that Bregman misses significant time.--Sam Chinitz
