5 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer went 2-for-5 with a home run in the Astros 13-6 win over the Rockies on Wednesday. It was the fourth home run of the season for Springer who, after a slow start, is slashing .275/.412/.550 over his last 40 at-bats. Springer has done all of his damage at the plate on the road this season, posting an OPS of 1.028 away from Minute Maid Park. The Astros leadoff man is capable of so much more at the dish and is an above average play heading into Thursday's action playing at the hitter-friendly Coors Field.--Joey C - RotoBaller
