Michael Conforto Hits Fourth Home Run Of Season
4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto went 1-for-4, scored twice, and drove in two runs with a clutch, two-run ninth-inning home run in the Mets' 5-3 win over the Marlins on Wednesday. Conforto is now batting .312/.434/.495 to go with four home runs and 13 RBI in 93 at-bats on the season. Conforto makes for a solid second or third outfielder in mixed league formats. Given his start to the season and his ability to crush lefties, his role as a fixture in the Mets' lineup in right field is secure. Owners in weekly lineup formats should confidently keep Conforto active while he is hitting atop the Mets' potent lineup.
