4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals shortstop Paul DeJong has been out of the lineup since July 29 due to a positive COVID-19 test, but his stint on the sidelines appears set to end Monday, which is the tentative date for him to get back in the lineup. DeJong will work out at the club’s alternate training site through the weekend, but owners can expect to have his bat back for the series against Kansas City. The sample size is minute, but DeJong has scalded the ball in the five games that he has played this year, producing a 93.8 MPH average exit velocity in addition to a .330 wOBA. He should be owned out of the gates in all season-long formats except those with fewer than 10 teams.--Jesse Borek
