Jose Urquidy Works Two Innings At Club’s Alternate Training Site
4 years agoHouston Astros right-handed pitcher Jose Urquidy continues to work his way back to the Major League roster, with his latest step having been a two-inning, 36-pitch appearance Thursday at the club’s alternate training site. Urquidy allowed four hits, including a home run, while striking out one batter. The club’s No. 2 prospect per MLB Pipeline has not yet pitched for Houston in 2020, but he will have considerable fantasy intrigue when he eventually makes it up after a nine-appearance stint last year. Check back for an update on when Urquidy may be cleared to join the big league club.
