Sonny Gray Strikes Out Six In No-Decision
4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray took a no-decision in a 5-4 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday. Gray allowed two runs across six innings of work while striking out six and walking four. He was in line for the win until Raisel Iglesias coughed up a 4-2 lead in the ninth inning by allowing three runs to score. Gray has been excellent for the Reds this season, posting a 4-1 record, 2.21 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and 51 strikeouts in 36 2/3 innings of work. Gray will look for his fifth win in his next start, which comes on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Brewers.
