Freddy Galvis Hits Fifth Homer
4 years agoCincinnati Reds shortstop Freddy Galvis went 1-for-3 with a solo homer and a walk in a 5-4 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday. Galvis took St. Louis starter Adam Wainwright deep in the second inning, giving him five homers on the season. Galvis has been solid for the Reds this season, hitting .246 with 10 runs and 10 RBI. He has been heating up at the plate of late, hitting .320 with three homers in his last seven games. Galvis is worth a look in NL-only leagues while he's swinging the bat well.
