4 years agoKansas City Royals right-handed pitcher Jakob Junis was scheduled to throw a “pretty intense” bullpen session at the club’s alternate site Friday as he makes his way back from the injured list. Dealing with back spasms, Junis could return as early as next week if all goes well in his latest bullpen. The righty has produced a 4.00 ERA across his first two starts this season, but he will be looking to correct his early season scuffles which have led to a 6.50 FIP and .584 xSLG. At this stage, he is just a low-priced DFS commodity. Check back for when the Royals announce his return to the rotation.--Jesse Borek
