4 years agoChicago White Sox catcher Yasmani Grandal returned to the lineup with a bang on Friday against the Chicago Cubs. Grandal had been absent since exiting Monday night with back issues and went 2-for-5 with a home run. The catcher also scored twice and knocked in a pair of runs. Grandal had really been struggling coming into tonight and hopefully this is the sign of a positive ascension. The All-Star catcher is now hitting .235 with two home runs and 12 RBI. Even with the slow start, Grandal remains one of the better options behind the plate in all formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
