4 years agoHouston Astros outfielder/designated Michael Brantley returned to the club’s lineup Sunday against San Diego and left-hander Adrian Morejon. Brantley was activated off the injured list Saturday and now reclaims the No. 6 spot in the batting order. Serving as the DH is likely to become the norm for Brantley with Yordan Alvarez (knee) out for the season, with Kyle Tucker and Josh Reddick holding down the corner outfield spots. Brantley has continued to be excellent at putting the ball in play during 2020, but it has led to a .239 xBA, a mark that is likely to trend in the other direction as the season progresses.--Jesse Borek
