Wade LeBlanc Leaves Sunday’s Start With Elbow Discomfort
4 years agoBaltimore Orioles left-handed pitcher Wade LeBlanc departed Sunday’s start against the Red Sox due to elbow discomfort in his pitching arm after facing just four batters. The fact that LeBlanc quickly departed after being visited by trainers likely doesn’t bode well for his short-term health or fantasy viability. Following his latest outing, LeBlanc owns an 8.06 ERA this season, with six home runs yielded in his 22 ⅓ innings. Rookie Keegan Akin is an intriguing name to keep an eye on as a replacement should LeBlanc’s injury force him to miss his next start.
