4 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Frankie Montas had his second straight bad start in a loss to the Angels Sunday. Montas allowed four earned runs on seven hits, three walks and struck out five on the afternoon. This start was better than his nine-earned run effort last time out, but his electric start to the season feels like an eternity ago. Montas was scratched from his start on August 14 with back tightness and he's now been rocked in both starts since. His upside makes him a must-own player in fantasy, but at this point it's fair to bench him until he proves he's healthy.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
