Miguel Sano Keeps Extra-Base Hit Streak Alive
4 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman Miguel Sano stayed red-hot in Monday's win over the Indians. Sano launched a two-run homer in the sixth inning, his sixth of the year and second in three games. The 27-year-old now has eight straight games with an extra-base hit, tying Tony Oliva and Harmon Killebrew for the second-longest streak in Twins history. In other words, the buy-low window has officially shut on Sano, whose OPS has skyrocketed from .640 to .897 in just one week. A tough matchup awaits on Tuesday against Shane Bieber, though Sano is simply too hot to be taken out of fantasy lineups right now.
