4 years agoThe Cleveland Indians have recalled starting pitcher Mike Clevinger to start on Wednesday against the Minnesota Twins. Clevinger was demoted to the clubs training facility after lying to the club about going out in Chicago and eventually putting his entire team at risk by breaking protocol and flying on the team plane. The Indians have made their message clear that they will not deal with players breaking protocol, but Clevinger with get a second shot in a tough matchup Wednesday. The right-hander owns a 1-1 record with a 3.24 ERA and 15 K’s in three starts this season.
