4 years agoChicago White Sox designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion hit his third home run in his past seven games on Wednesday versus the Pirates. Encarnacion finished the evening 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. The veteran slugger has picked up his power numbers over the past week but is still hitting just .182 on the season. We've seen Encarnacion go on home run binges before, and hopefully this is the start of one of those. But outside of power, he doesn't offer much value at this stage of his career.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
