4 years agoChicago Cubs relief pitcher Craig Kimbrel threw another scoreless inning on Wednesday versus the Tigers. Kimbrel did allow a walk, but struck out two on the evening. Kimbrel has now gone five straight outings without allowing a run and has struck out 11 batters and walked four without allowing a hit over 4 2/3 innings. Rowan Wick has seemed to be manager David Ross’s preferred option with Jeremy Jeffress also seeing save chances, but with Wick struggling of late and Kimbrel trending upward, it looks like it may be time to jump back on the Kimbrel bandwagon.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
