Jose Berrios Endures Setback Against Indians
4 years agoMinnesota Twins pitcher Jose Berrios had it all working in his previous start against the Brewers, though that was not the case in Wednesday's contest against Cleveland. Berrios pitched five 2/3 innings, allowing seven hits, four walks and three runs while striking out six. The 26-year-old reverted back to bad habits in this one. The good news is, Berrios has a career-high 9.8 strikeouts per nine innings- the bad news is, he has also posted the highest walks and hits per nine innings since he became a full-time starter. He has the capability to pitch like a dependable number-two fantasy starter, but the results haven't been there yet. A powerful White Sox lineup looms in Berrios' next scheduled outing.
