4 years agoNew York Yankees second baseman DJ LeMahieu could return this week says manager Aaron Boone. The second baseman has been on the injured list since August 17 with a thumb injury. He will continue to get at-bats at the Yankees alternate training facility and it looks like he’s nearing a return quicker than initially expected. LeMahieu was hitting .411 with a pair of home runs, 15 runs scored, eight RBI and a stolen base prior to his injury.
