Allen Lazard Enters Third Season As Season-Long Option
4 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard took a significant step forward in 2019, putting him on many owners' radars ahead of drafts this year. Despite having been an undrafted free agent that saw just one target in 2918, Lazard is now arguably the Packers No. 2 receiver and is being rostered in just 16 percent of leagues. He would see his fantasy prospects rise significantly should Davante Adams miss time in a fashion similar to last year with an injury, as the Green Bay pecking order is held together in his mold. But Lazard’s claim to ownership is that he’ll have Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball. At 6-foot-5 with a 67.3% catch rate last year, Lazard figures to stand out as a red-zone threat, which gives him added appeal for those owners willing to consider him with their last selection.
