Aaron Judge Heading Back To Injured List
4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (calf) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Friday after aggravating his calf strain. Manager Aaron Boone said that Judge will miss about twice as much time as he did for the original injury, which effectively kept the outfielder sidelined for the minimum 10 days. With Judge expected to miss the next three weeks, the Yankees figure to use a primary outfield of Clint Frazier, Mike Tauchman and Aaron Hicks, with Brett Gardner and Miguel Andujar mixed in. Top prospect Estevan Florial is also in the mix after being called up for the team’s doubleheader on Friday, but Florial is unlikely to see consistent playing time even with Judge sidelined.
