4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder and designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) is still at least a week away from rejoining the team, according to manager Aaron Boone. Stanton was placed on the injured list with a Grade 1 hamstring strain on Aug. 11, and although he started swinging again on Thursday, fantasy players should expect the 30-year-old to remain sidelined for the entirety of next week at least. First baseman Mike Ford has been the team’s primary DH with Stanton out, but Miguel Andujar has a chance to take over that role.--Sam Chinitz
