4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge has landed back on the injured list due to a calf ailment and after having been out of the mix for 14 days the previous time, Yankees general manager Brian Cashman has indicated that Judge will miss at least double the time this turn through the IL. Judge, who has produced a 186 OPS+ through his first 18 games, had been vocal about his desire to avoid the IL in the first place during his last stint; this time, he’ll be lucky to return prior to the conclusion of the regular season. Injuries have proven to be a bugaboo during Judge’s career, with owners needing to look elsewhere to fill his production moving forward with Clint Frazier likely to retain season-long value as New York’s outfield remains short-handed.--Jesse Borek
