4 years agoDetroit Tigers catcher Austin Romine was scratched from Sunday’s lineup against Minnesota and right-hander Kenta Maeda due to a sore knee with Grayson Greiner taking over behind the dish in his place. Romine has been a solid DFS punt play behind the plate for most of the season due to his .291 average, while Greiner presents a much riskier play with a slash line of .115/.233/.308 coming into play Sunday. Romine’s next opportunity to rejoin the starting nine comes Tuesday against Milwaukee should the Tigers hang on to his services through the Trade Deadline.--Jesse Borek
