Jerad Eickhoff Signs Minor League Deal With Rangers
4 years agoRight-handed pitcher Jerad Eickhoff has inked a Minor League contract to join the Texas Rangers, first reporting to the club’s alternate training site. Eickhoff has appeared in a variety of roles for the Phillies over the past five seasons, having compiled a 4.15 ERA in 80 appearances (76 starts). The Rangers are reportedly shopping many of their top starting pitcher options ahead of Monday’s Trade Deadline, so Eickhoff could be in line for a big league starting job should Lance Lynn, Mike Minor, or Kyle Gibson be dealt.
