4 years agoSan Diego Padres second baseman Jake Cronenworth went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer Sunday against the Colorado Rockies. Cronenworth continues to rake, collecting two singles and powering an offering by reliever Jairo Diaz 414 feet over right centerfield. In 108 plate appearances, the 26-year-old rookie is slashing a phenomenal .361/.417/.619 with four homers and 36 runs-plus-RBI as the clear NL Rookie of the Year favorite.
