4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto is not in the starting lineup for the Mets' matinee against the Marlins on Monday. It looks to be just a routine day off for Conforto who is having a great 2020. Conforto is batting .320 with five homers, 17 RBI, 22 runs, and three stolen bases in 122 at-bats. Brandon Nimmo will start in right field with Jake Marisnick playing center on Monday. Conforto's stock has risen in this short season and, along with Dominic Smith and Robinson Cano, has proven to be one of the Mets' most effective and consistent hitters. Despite the off-day, managers in weekly lineup formats should keep Conforto active who should, by all accounts, be back in the lineup on Tuesday. The Mets will play six more games this week.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
