Josh Naylor To Be Starting Left Fielder For Indians
4 years agoOutfielder/first baseman Josh Naylor, acquired by the Indians on Monday from the San Diego Padres, is penciled in to be the Indians' starting left fielder for the remainder of the season. While he has yet to exhibit his potential at the plate in the majors, he could hit over 20 home runs with decent batting average if given the opportunity to start in a full season. With this news, the Indians appear intent on giving Naylor regular at-bats which immediately enhances his fantasy value in both deep mixed and AL-only formats. At 23 years of age, dynasty managers should also keep Naylor on their radar to see how he performs down the stretch for the Indians in 2020.
