Eddie Rosario Sees Power Numbers Dip To Begin 2020
4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Eddie Rosario has proven to be the kind of power hitter who doesn’t amass gaudy walk totals, yet in order to become a consistent fantasy staple, he’ll need to ramp up his offensive production in 2020. Hitting .238 through his first 34 games, that mark -- which is on pace to be a career low -- is backed up by a .224 xBA. Equally concerning is that despite holding down an everyday role, almost all of his production comes from what he has done against righties (.806 OPS), with just one extra-base hit in 36 plate appearances versus southpaws. He returns home for a series against the White Sox beginning on Monday, but he’ll have little DFS appeal for the first two contests going up against Lucas Giolito and Dallas Keuchel.
